Sending a huge congratulations to three South Holt Alum for receiving the American Degree! Kenlyn, Zander, and Teegan will receive this honor at National Convention at the end of October! The American Degree is the highest achievement an FFA member can earn, and only about 1% of members nationwide reach this milestone. We are so proud of their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence!

Elementary Dismissal Changes: We are changing our dismissal procedures in order to ensure the safety of all students. Please see the information below. We will provide further details after dismissal today. Starting today, all PK-4th Grade car riders will dismiss on the elementary side of the building. We ask that all parents picking up students remain in their vehicles and use the circle drive for pick up. Any parents who must walk to pick up students should wait outside the fence along Madison Street. Students whose parents are walking up for pickup will be sent to the Madison Street gate location when the parent is present at the fence. Please reach out to the Elementary Office if you have any questions. Thank you for your patience as we make these safety adjustments.

2024-25 JH/HS Yearbooks will be distributed on Monday. Students who have purchased yearbooks will be allowed to attend a signing event during the day. There are still books available for purchase. Cost is $50, payable to South Holt. 2025 graduates can also pick up their books. Please email kernsr@southholt.com with questions.

Tomorrow is Back to School Night. We can't wait to see our South Holt students and families! Stay and support our Booster Club as they host a BBQ in front of the school. See you between 5:00 and 7:00 tomorrow night.

South Holt is starting to move toward online payments. You will now be able to make online payments through Powerschool for lunch accounts. We are starting small... We hope that the convenience to you is helpful. There will be a fee of 4.5% on these transactions though. Of course, you can always send or bring in a check or cash like always with no fee.

We are pleased to add Mrs. Courtney Howell to the South Holt Staff as a Senior Advisor. Mrs. Howell has served as a substitute teacher for the last 4 years and looks forward to stepping into her new role at South Holt.
