South Holt will not send Hillyard Vo-tech students to St Joe on Thursday or Friday morning as SJSD does not have school. Hillyard students should report to South Holt at 10:40am on both Thursday and Friday.
South Holt will not have AM weight training for HS and JH students on Wednesday morning. Canceled by Coach P. in hopes to have the group gather on Thursday morning.

I hope you have had a fun time in the snow and gotten your fair share of exercise from shoveling the foot or more of snow! This used to be the norm when I was a kid. School will be in session tomorrow and it is a cold one, so please bundle up. Bus drivers will communicate any route changes with you but if you have concerns about turnarounds please reach out to Matt Kreek at First Student at 660-442-5111. The South Holt pep band will not be attending the basketball game tonight and playing. Those pep band members are excused from playing, but can still attend the game as spectators.
South Holt will be playing basketball tonight against Mound City. The JV boys will play at 5:30pm followed by varsity girls and then varsity boys. Please be careful if you decide to attend these games. Side roads and parking lot are still snow packed

All 3rd through 6th Graders are attending a field trip to Bode Ice Arena this afternoon. Students are expected to ride the bus back to school for a regular dismissal. Parents/Guardians may sign their child out from the skating rink if they choose to. Students will NOT be allowed to leave with anyone other than a parent/guardian unless granted approval from Mrs. Mendenhall prior to leaving South Holt. Please contact the elementary office with any questions.

Join us tonight at 6:30 for the South Holt Express. Report to the main gym for some Christmas fun. There will be treats and activities inside, as well as a Christmas hayride around town to view Christmas lights.
