Christmas Around the Square is happening tonight at the TJ Hall Building. Stop by and grab dinner and visit the vendors on the way to the JH basketball game. Dinner is being served at 5:00. Santa is on the stage from 4:00 to 7:00.
The South Holt varsity basketball teams will continue play in the Mound City Basketball Tournament. The varsity girls play at 5:00pm on Friday against East Atchison. The varsity boys play at 5:00pm on Saturday against Mound City. Good luck Knights!
All South Holt sophomore students will be attending a field trip on Wednesday, December 11th to tour Hillyard Technical Center in St. Joseph. Students need to arrive at South Holt to board the bus departing at 6:45am and will return with HTC students at the beginning of 4th hour that day.

South Holt had all levels of basketball teams play on Tuesday night. The JH boys won over Nodaway Valley by 1 point. Unfortunately the HS boys, the HS girls, and the JH girls all lost. Next games: HS boys play tonight in the MC Tournament at 9:00pm. JH plays at home on Thursday aginst Savannah. HS girls play on Friday in the MC Tournament at 5:00pm.

South Holt is holding a holiday food drive to Benefit the Hope House in Forest City. Staff, students, and community members may drop items off at the elementary office between December 2 and December 13. The most needed items are listed on the flyer below. The JH girls and boys both win tonight against Union Star. Go Knights! The teams are back in action next week on Tuesday at Nodaway Valley (in Graham) and at home next Thursday.
