Reminder: ACT District Testing takes place for junior students and interested senior students tomorrow, March 8th beginning at 8:24 a.m. in the South Holt Library. After testing concludes students will be dismissed for the day. Students are expected to return to school for sports practices and Scholar Bowl activities.

South Holt evening activities are adjusted due to the city-wide water shut off. There is no practice for high school track or baseball tonight. The Scholar Bowl will be happening at 4:30pm with participants and visitors being provided water bottles. All Scholar Bowl athletes need to arrive back at South Holt by 4:00pm.

Due to the water being shut off, South Holt school is dismissing early. Drivers have been excused. Buses are on their way to the school and students will board them when they are here. The City of Oregon is shutting off the water supply to Oregon to make a tie-in, unexpectedly. When the water is back on there will be a boil order until further notice.

The South Holt Lady Knights play in the district championship tonight against Platte Valley at 6:00pm in Mound City. Good luck girls! The bus leaves at 5:00pm. And the South Holt cheerleaders will be doing free face painting beginning at 5:30pm in the Mound City gym for fans.

It is FFA Week! The Monday holiday and Tuesday no school have consolidated some of South Holt's events. Here is an update. Today is Greenhand Day. Thursday will be Hillbilly Day and Drive Your Tractor to School Day (licensed drivers only). Friday will have most FFA members attending the Western Farm Show in Kansas City. Looking forward to a great, condensed week of FFA events!

Dawson Fansher wraps up his high school wrestling career at state with a tough 3-1 loss in the finals. He has a 2nd place finish in the 126 pound Class 1 Championship. He has placed at state in all 4 years of high school. We are so proud of Dawson! Congratulations on a great season and career!
