South Holt Graduation today at 2:00pm. Congratulations to the 27 graduates in the Class of 2022!



The boil order for the city of Oregon has been lifted.

The Mighty MO Ball and Rec Association is hosting the following track and field event today at the South Holt football field. Come sign up now with events starting around 9:15am. This is a great opportunity for area youth.


The South Holt baseball team lost to Rock Port on Friday evening by the score of 3-2 in the first round of districts. The loss ends the Knights’ season with 8 wins and 8 losses. Thanks to seniors Gannon Phelan, Luke Worley, and Tony Skeen for their contributions to the baseball program.

Reminder.....The City of Oregon will be shutting the water off to its Oregon customers today (Thursday, May 12) at 3:30. They hope to have it back on in 3 hours or so. There will be a boil order to follow the water being turned back on. We will notify you when the boil order is lifted.

Congratulations to 3 South Holt varsity baseball players on all-conference honors. 1st Team: Cole Medsker (9th grade) and Hayes Weller (9th grade). Honorable mention: Kendall Noland (10th grade). Great job boys!

3rd Grade students were all dressed up as they presented their Famous Missourian speeches and slide presentations for their families on Tuesday evening. Nice job 3rd graders!





On Wednesday, May 11 all elementary students will spend some time outdoors celebrating their hard work on end of the year testing. Please plan accordingly, as it will be hot outside. Students should wear tennis shoes, bring water bottles, and are welcome to bring sunscreen if they choose. Contact the elementary office with any questions.

A number of South Holt athletes placed in the top 4 of the District meet in King City and are moving on to the Sectional meet next week. Hayden Elifrits 1st in shot put and 4th in discus. Brianna Biondo 4th in the 300 hurdles. Dawson Fansher 2nd in the 1600m and 3rd in the 3200m. Olivia Prussman 3rd in the 3200m. Nice job Knights!

South Holt varsity baseball loses to North Platte by the score of 4-1. Then a wonderful Senior Night event. Then a last minute cancellation of JV game.

Some South Holt highlights from the 275 Conference Track Meet: Hayden Elifrits is the conference champ in the discus and shot put. Brianna Biondo is the conference champ in the triple jump. Dawson Fansher finished 3rd in the 3200 meter run.

South Holt's baseball games vs Albany have been cancelled for tonight due to forecasted rainy conditions. No make-up date scheduled. Senior Night recognition postponed until Thursday, May 5th when South Holt hosts North Platte in baseball. No baseball practice today.

MAP grade-level standardized testing for 7th and 8th graders starts tomorrow! Get a good nights rest and some breakfast. Be ready for Math and English testing the next 3 days. 8th graders will also do Science testing on Thursday. We got this!

Good luck to South Holt’s 5 students participating is state trapshooting today at Linn Creek, Missouri. Tylynn Prussman, Kendall Noland, Jaxon Schaeffer, Cole Medsker, and Trace Milne.

Varsity baseball wins 9-5 over Osborn-Stewartsville in Forest City. And the JV team wins 4-3 on a last inning walk off! Two great wins! Go Knights!
