Mrs. Turner set up a great Art Show for families to check out the Art that their children were making in class this year. So many people crowded around to check out the art. Here is a sampling of what you would have seen if you attended last night's Music concert and Art Show.

Congratulations to Mr. Ted Quinlin on receiving the honor of Northwest Regional Principal of the Year! He was nominated by 4 individuals and the Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals representatives both had good things to say about Mr. Quinlin and the way he provided support to new principals in the field. Good luck to our HS baseball team as they play at Stanberry tonight. Bus at 2:40pm. Varsity only game at 5pm. No JV. The Stanberry baseball field located north of HS football field.
Good luck to our JH Track team as they compete at Tarkio today. Bus at 2:10pm. Field events at 4:00. Track events at 5:30.
The third and fourth grade students worked very hard on their I Ready Math tests last week. Every student in both grades raised their scores on the end of year test. They were rewarded by earning a walk down the street to enjoy chips, salsa, queso, and a soda.

South Holt Elementary is holding the annual South Holt Elementary Variety Show on Thursday, May 21 at 1:00 p.m. All students are invited to participate in this event. If you have a special talent you would like to show off, register for this event. Registration information will be shared in May. Reach out to Mrs. Plummer, or a 6th Grade Student Council member for more information.
Students in grades 3-8 begin state testing this week. Please help us set your child up for success as they complete testing this week. We encourage students to get plenty of sleep and a good breakfast prior to testing. We are excited for our students to show off how much they have learned this school year!
Wow! Tonight’s Indian Relays track meet at Tarkio was quite memorable for a number of South Holt Knight track athletes. When it was all said and done, 24 runner, jumpers and throwers had set new personal records or season bests! Unbelievable! Their hard work and focus on improving in each event is paying dividends! Way To Go, Knights!
South Holt baseball lost 11-7 to North Platte on Friday night. Great effort. Tough loss.
