The Big Smiles in-school dentist is coming to our school again on Friday, October 3, 2025 for dental exams/care. Permission slips will be sent home this week with elementary students. Permission slips will be in the high school office for JH/HS, or you can sign your child up online at www.myschooldentist.com. Permission slips are due by September 26, 2025. This is available for PK-12th grade students. Insurance is accepted including Medicaid and CHIP. A low cost self pay option is available for those without insurance. This Wednesday is school picture day at South Holt. No order forms will be provided ahead of time. Once proofs are back, parents will be given information regarding ordering pictures online. Reach out to one of the building offices if you have questions about picture day.
The third graders took their annual trip to the Drugstore Museum in Forest City last Friday. They were entertained by a marionette show about the day the river changed course, got to play with the marionettes, and enjoyed ice cream.
