The South Holt High School track teams had a great meet Friday night in Tarkio. Boys got 4th Place out of 13 schools. Girls got 6th Place. We had many personal records and came away with over 25 medals. The boys and girls teams compete this Friday at the Panther Relays in Mound City. Events begin at 3:30 p.m. Come out and support our South Holt Track Teams! Go Knights!










South Holt students split into Family Pods in November. All grades were divided among 14 different groups PK-12th grade. They have participated in many events throughout the year. They made pies, decorated doors, painted rocks for a rock snake that is located in front of the school, participated in get to know you activities, read stories together, and played minute to win it games. This week is our last week of State testing. Please take a look at the schedule below. Remember to eat a good breakfast prior to testing and to get a good night's sleep. Elementary students are encouraged to bring a small snack on testing days.

The Kiwanis Club hosted the annual Senior Awards luncheon on Wednesday and recognized 12 of our seniors for their accomplishments. Nine seniors maintained a 3.5 GPA or higher: Haylee Counts, Katherine Mendenhall, Brayden Hustead, Cole Medsker, Kale Kerns, Zachary Schuman, Rachael Knapp , Hayes Weller, and Jack Kridler. Senior Music awards were presented to Courtney Jennings and Anna Clough. Senior Athlete awards were presented to Cole Medsker and Mylee Prussman. The Boy Scouts were also present to award a Scout scholarship to Kale Kerns. The Kiwanis Club gave three $1000 scholarships this year. The recipients were Kale Kerns, Katie Mendenhall, and Cole Medsker. We are so grateful for the support that the community gives to our students and the school.

South Holt R-I High School is celebrating our student athletes. Student athletes in grades 9-12, along with their families, are invited to the South Holt Athletic Banquet on Sunday, May 11 at 6:00 p.m. The banquet will be held in the main gym.
