Reminder...Banquet is tonight....South Holt R-I High School is celebrating our student athletes. Student athletes in grades 9-12, along with their families, are invited to the South Holt Athletic Banquet on Sunday, May 11 at 6:00p.m. The banquet will be held in the main gym. Greenhouse Plant Sales! Please come and support our FFA program and see the great job our greenhouse students have done. We will be open next Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

The Oregon Christian Church is having a "Thank You" event for After School Bible Club teachers on Sunday, May 11th. If you have been part of Bible Club or want to support the teachers, please stop and sign a banner in the Christian Church. And consider joining the group for breakfast at 9:45am Sunday morning at the church if you don't have anywhere else to be.

Third graders have had a fun two days. Famous Missourians presentation was Wed. night and we enjoyed School Day at the K on Thursday.
Attention Elementary Students: The South Holt Elementary Yearbooks are in and will be distributed to students on May 13. If you have not purchased a yearbook and would like one, please contact the South Holt Elementary Office. Yearbooks are $25. There is a limited supply available. Students in grades K-6 will participate in a yearbook signing on May 13. Get your yearbooks before May 13 to participate in the class signing.
The 2025 Kiwanis Teacher of the Year for South Holt is Carrie Campbell. Mrs. Campbell was honored recently at a Kiwanis meeting. Mrs. Campbell is a 20 year veteran art teacher.

HS Track and JH Track compete tomorrow (Tuesday, May 6th) in the 275 Conference Track meet at Mound City. Field events begin at 12:30pm. Running events start at 3:00pm. Ticketing for Tuesday's track meet is Digital Ticketing, but 275 Conference passes will be accepted at the gate. South Holt baseball on Friday, May 2nd vs. East Buchanan is postponed due to rain. No game tonight. If game rescheduled to another day, we will share a new date.
South Holt Elementary students will have time the last week of school to participate in yearbook signings. If your child did not order a yearbook and would like one, we have extras available in the Elementary Office. Please reach out to Hannah Vergith in the Elementary Office to purchase a SH Elementary Yearbook. Yearbooks cost $25 and will be passed out on May 13.
