The South Holt Knights boys' basketball team beat Winston in the semifinal round of district play in a very competitive game. Final score 53-46. Boys play next in the District Championship on Saturday at 2pm in King City against North Andrew. Let's Go Knights!

Congratulations to South Holt senior Zander Howell for finishing in 2nd Place (Silver) at the SkillsUSA District Contest that was held at Hillyard Technical School on Friday, February 16th. Zander received recognition yesterday at the Awards Ceremony in St. Joe for this district event that involved technical schools from all over Northwest Missouri. Zander will go onto a state level contest that will be held in April.

The Big Smiles in-school dentist is coming to our school again on March 27, 2024 for dental exams/care. Permission slips will be sent home this week with elementary students. Permission slips will be in the high school office for JH/HS, or you can sign your child up online at https://www.myschooldentist.com/32061_schsrm. Permission slips are due by March 5, 2024. Insurance is accepted including Medicaid and CHIP. A low cost self pay option is available for those without insurance. For more information or questions contact Blair Costello, School Nurse.

South Holt is celebrating the KC Chiefs tomorrow!
South Holt will celebrate "Red Wednesday" on 2/14/24 to celebrate the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl win. You are encouraged to wear something red/Chiefs on Wednesday. The original idea was to have this on Tuesday, but it is now Wednesday to coincide with the victory parade.
The results are in! Elementary students participated in a "Who Would Win" Super Bowl edition.
