With the support of the South Holt Elementary PTO, South Holt students in grades Kindergarten through 3rd Grade had the opportunity to visit Schweizer's Orchard last week. While at the orchard, students learned about different types of apples and how they grow. Students were able to pick their own pumpkins and apples. In addition, they went on a wagon ride and had time to play in the straw maze and on the playground equipment at the orchard. This was a wonderful experience for South Holt students. 30 minutes after tonight’s home football game there will be a 5th Quarter at 1st Christian Church (204 South Washington). This event is for High School students. Come eat, play games, or just hang out. Sponsored by South Holt R-1, the Ministerial Alliance, interested parents & 1st Christian Church.
South Holt will recognize senior football players and senior cross country runners tonight beginning at 6:30pm in advance of the varsity football game. The varsity volleyball senior will be recognized on Tuesday, October 19th after the varsity volleyball match.
South Holt will host a FAFSA Frenzy event for high school senior students and their families beginning at 5:00pm on Thursday, October 21st in the high school computer lab. A representative will share general financial aid information and be available to assist with FAFSA completion. Parents/Guardians will need to bring 2020 income tax returns, W2’s, and other records of money earned.
