
The JH track meet for today (Thursday) at Tarkio has been cancelled. There is no make-up date.

The South Holt Knights baseball team lost to Northland Christian by the score of 9-0 on Tuesday evening. The Knights play again on Thursday at Platte Valley.

Today South Holt Elementary is hosting Kindergarten Screening. If you have a child who will turn 5 before August 1, please contact the elementary office for an appointment, if you do not already have one.

All South Holt scheduled sporting events for this evening are going on as planned. JH track at Rock Port will still start at 4pm. HS baseball at Forest City will start at 4:30pm. One adjustment is there is no JV baseball game this evening after the varsity contest.

Congratulations to the South Holt baseball team on their win at North Nodaway last night! The Knights won 15-0 over the Mustangs. Go Knights!

The high school track meet that was scheduled for tonight at Tarkio has been CANCELLED. No make-up date will be made. The high school baseball game at Hopkins (North Nodaway) is still being played with a first pitch of 4:30pm.

On Tuesday evening the South Holt baseball team won their first game of the season over Penney HS by the score of 14-0. And the high school track team competed in a meet at North Platte with many medals won by various athletes. Congratulations to both teams on a great night! Both track and baseball are preparing to compete again on Thursday.

South Holt Elementary will hold preschool screenings on Wednesday and Thursday, March 30 and 31. If you have a 3 or 4 year old, and do not already have an appointment scheduled, please contact the South Holt Elementary office at 446-2356 to schedule a screening time.

For any spectators attending tonight’s high school baseball game, the field is at Perkins Park in Plattsburg. Field turf field so no sunflowers seeds.

Reminder.....There will be a Winter Sports Reception and Academic Reception event on Thursday, March 24th at 6:30pm in the main gym. This combined event is for high school basketball, wrestling, cheerleading, and academic recognition. We will also unveil the football conference banner at this event. All students, parents, and community members are welcome to attend.

Reminder.....Tomorrow (Tuesday, March 23rd) is picture day for HS baseball, JH track, HS track, HS Choir, and 7-12 Band starting at 2pm. Please make sure all students bring their uniform and outfits for group pictures.

To ensure student safety during dismissal, the north parking lot (JH end of the building) will not be accessible to vehicles picking up students. Students should be picked up in the circle drive behind the school. Parents wishing to pick up students on the north side of the school should park on the street and walk to the sidewalk to pick up students. Thank you for helping make our dismissal safe for all students. Please contact the elementary office at 446-2356 if you have any questions regarding dismissal procedures.

South Holt's Tuesday's lunch will be Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, and fruit. Thanks you!

Students at South Holt have no school tomorrow, March 21. This is a regularly scheduled professional development day for teachers.

Reminder…JH and HS cheerleading tryout practice will be held tomorrow at 4:30. All 6th through 11th graders who are trying out should be at the school by 4:30.
