
The South Holt Kindergarten through Second Grade had the opportunity to visit Schweizer's Orchard today. Each student was able to pick a pumpkin and an apple to take home. Thank you to the South Holt PTO for providing students with this opportunity. It was a great day!

Congratulations to South Holt junior Olivia Prussman for earning All-Conference honors at last night's cross country meet in Maryville. This is her 3rd year in a row to be All-Conference.

Kindergarten through 2nd Grade is traveling to Schweizer's Orchard on Tuesday, October 18. Please make sure your child dresses for the weather, as it is supposed to be chilly. If you do NOT want your child to attend, please contact the South Holt Elementary Office at 660-446-2356.


Evergy Energy Company will be turning the power off at midnight tonight (Saturday) until around 6am on Sunday for maintenance and repair. This power outage will affect Oregon, Forest City, and surrounding households. Please share this info.

The South Holt Sophomore Class is at Cargill today selling grab and go lunch (hamburger, chips, dessert, and water) for $5.00. They will be at Cargill from 11:00 to 2:00 or until sold out.

Tonight's varsity football game at Rock Port is at 7pm and is a Pink Out Night. There will not be an admission fee to get into the game. Instead Rock Port will be taking a freewill donation for the Pierpoint Family, a local family who has a family member battling cancer. Please come to the game and support a good cause.

South Holt volleyball falls to Rock Port 3 sets to 1 set in the last regular season contest of the season. District play starts on Saturday, Oct 22nd.

After two sets in the varsity match in Rock Port it is tied at 1 win each between South Holt and Rock Port.

JV volleyball starts the night at Rock Port with a victory. The Lady Knights win 2 sets to 1 set over the Blue Jays. Go Knights! Varsity to play next.

Friday, October 14th is the end of the 1st Quarter at South Holt.

Thursday’s high school volleyball match at Rock Port will be JV at 5:30, then R.P. Senior Night, and then the Varsity match.
