Friday's South Holt varsity football game start time has been moved to 8:00pm at Princeton. A 1-hour delay for better playing conditions due to hot weather. The football bus will now leave at 4:00pm and the cheerleaders will leave in a school van at 5:30pm.
The South Holt “Meet the Knights” event scheduled for Thursday evening is postponed. Due to excessive heat and changes in sports team’s schedules it is best to not have the event on Thursday.
Yesterday, during afternoon dismissal loading of the school buses, a patron went around the buses while they are loading. You are not to go around a school bus while it is stopped for loading and unloading. This is illegal. The bus drivers take down license plates and will report the offense to our sheriff's department. The road on the east side of the school is one way, north to south, before and after school for loading and unloading students from the buses.

South Holt Yearbooks from 2017 to 2022 will be available for purchase during Back to School Night tonight outside the high school and elementary offices. 2017-2020-$30, 2021 & 2022-$40, and 20-22 Elementary books will be $20. Please bring the exact cash or check, there will be no change available. The 2023 yearbook will be available at a later date.
South Holt is selling 4 tables for $20 a piece that are 60" long X 42" wide X 29 1/2" tall. For those familiar with the school, these tables came out of the FACS room. If you are intereste call Bob at 660-446-2282. We would like these tables removed as soon as possible. By the end of the day hopefully.

This drop-in event allows students to verify their pre-registration schedule, sign forms, and be assigned a locker. Registration is happening TODAY (Friday) until noon for all Juniors and Seniors in the counselor’s room in the main hallway of South Holt. Dates and Times for others: Monday, August 14th for Sophomores and Freshmen from 9am-12pm. Tuesday, August 15th for 8th and 7th Grade from 9am-12pm. ***Family units and siblings can come at the same time regardless of grade level.

Here are the sports and times: CROSS COUNTRY at 7:00am by the school's green house; VOLLEYBALL from 9:00am-12:00pm in the main gym; and FOOTBALL from 3:30pm-6:00pm on the practice field. JH sports will begin on Monday, August 14th with times TBA.
