The varsity playoff game this week at Platte Valley in Barnard has been moved to Saturday due to anticipated severe weather on Friday night. The game will start at 2:00pm on Saturday. Tonight, tonight....South Holt will host a Financial Aid Night for senior students and their families beginning at 6:00pm on Tuesday, November 1st in the elementary computer lab. A representative will share general financial aid information and be available to assist with FAFSA completion. Just a reminder that he Annual South Holt Fireman’s Halloween hotdog roast is tonight, Oct 31st 5-7 p.m. behind the fire station. Costume judging at 6 p.m. Hotdogs, chips and drink provided. Everyone is welcome!

Happy Halloween! Parents...If you are attending Halloween parties today, please stop by the elementary office and check out the lost and found. There are several unclaimed hoodies and jackets. Halloween festivities begin with a costume parade in the main gym at 2:00 for 2nd-6th Graders. Parties will begin after the costume parade, between 2:15 and 2:30 for all students in Preschool-6th Grade.
JH basketball at Savannah Middle School on Tuesday, November 1st will just be regular games. No extra quarters on Tuesday. Bus leaves at 4:15pm.
JH basketball at North Nodaway on Monday, October 31st will have a 5th Quarter for both the girls and the boys in addition to the regular game. Bus leaves at 3:45pm.

The South Holt cross county team finished their season today at the District Meet. Olivia Prussman finished 10th and qualified for the State Meet. This is her third year qualifying for the State Meet. The girls team finished in 6th place as a team today. Go Knights!
