South Holt R-1 is hosting a donation drive for the North Star Advocacy Center. This organization has helped provide services to numerous South Holt students and families. On October 30th, North Star Advocacy will be present at South Holt to provide their services, free of charge. As a thank you, South Holt would like to provide resources for the new North Star- Holt County Branch located in Mound City, MO. Any donated items will be used to continue to help provide services to students/families in Holt County. HIgh School geometry students worked on their "Law of Syllogism" books during geometry class this week. They had to write four statements and a conclusion for each book. Ms. Sikarwar's students showed a lot of creativity in their work.

JH football loses to Dekalb to wrap up their season. Dekalb 56, South Holt 26. Tough loss. All JH athletes transition to basketball now. JH basketball's first game is on October 23rd.
