
The South Holt Elementary Carnival is next Thursday, November 9. Raffle tickets and punch cards for games are available ahead of time. We highly recommend purchasing raffle tickets ahead of time so names can be written on them before you arrive at the carnival. Contact the South Holt Elementary Office with questions.

Miss Russell's Kindergarten Class visited residents at the Oregon Care Center today, working together on some fall crafts. Thank you to Miss Russell and the OCC for making this happen. Happy November!




The South Holt JH basketball teams play tonight at home against St. Joseph Catholic Academy. Girls play at 5:30pm and the boys play after. This game was moved and opponent adjusted to play not on Halloween. Good luck Knights!

Good luck to Olivia Prussman (South Holt Senior) as she goes to run in the state cross country meet on Friday morning in Columbia. There will be a State Send-Off for Olivia at 10:05am on Thursday in the main HS hallway. All are welcome to attend this event.

South Holt Elementary was proud to celebrate our October Character Kids. These students exemplified self-control throughout the month. Students were honored with a breakfast sponsored by the Elementary PTO and were given a t-shirt compliments of Country Roots Design.


The JH girls basketball team gets a big win over North Nodaway tonight. Go Knights!

FYI - Students in 6th grade to 12th grade were involved in a state mandated presentation today at school. The topic was trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate sexual abuse information. Each small group session was lead by North Star Advocacy trained professionals and monitored by Mrs. Martin and other South Holt staff. Students were provided a handout and may bring that home. Please contact Mrs. Martin through the high school office with any questions.

Congratulations to Olivia Prussman for her great run at district cross county on Saturday. She qualified for the state meet for the 4th year and will run Friday in Columbia. Good luck!

North Star Advocacy Center will be at South Holt on Monday, October 30. This organization will provide state mandated abuse education to all students in grades 6-12.
