South Holt Elementary students and staff traveled on Friday morning to spread some holiday cheer to the Holt County Courthouse and to the Oregon Care Center.
Dawson Fansher is currently ranked 1st in the 113 pound weight class wrestling in the Battle Tournament In Sedalia, Mo. he began the tournament with 2 byes and 4 pins. Thank you to Lisa Fansher for the update.

South Holt Agricultural Education students completed their finals this week.
Here is a small preview of what finals look like in an Agricultural classroom:
8th Grade Exploratory Ag students wrote a letter to animal scientist, Dr. Temple Grandin. Horticulture students made live wreaths by cutting and wiring live greenery and Animal Science students simulated AI on the preserved reproductive tract of a cow. It has been a fantastic week of students showcasing their skills!

Admission to Friday (12/20/19) nights game will be free to all South Holt students grades Pre K - 12th. The evening will begin with a 5:30 PM JV Boys game against North Nodaway. Olivia Richards will be inducted into the South Holt Hall of Fame between varsity games.
A couple of South Holt students had a wonderful surprise today. Welcome back Private Jaden Phelan from basic training and thank you for your service to our country. Included in the picture are younger brother, Gannon Phelan and cousin, Brody Scroggins.
On Friday, December 20th, South Holt will induct Olivia Richards into our Hall of Fame. The ceremony will occur between varsity games. If you have an opportunity, please come out and support our Knights against North Nodaway and help celebrate one of our former students.

Tonight's High School Basketball action will take place in Tarkio vs East Atchison. Tonight will be varsity only with varsity girls starting at 6:00. No JV tonight. Team bus leaves at 4:30.
