South Holt Kindergarten and Preschool Screening scheduled for Wednesday, March 18th are postponed until further notice.

There will be a meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17 at 3:30 in the school library for anyone interested in discussing and offering solutions to the issues the dismissal of school for 2 1/2 weeks may cause. South Holt R-1 School District will be suspending all spring sports and after school activities until further notice.
The food drop program wll start again on March 18th at 10:00 AM at the Methodist Church in Oregon.
South Holt R-1 School District will not have school from Wednesday, March 18 thru Friday, April 3. This is in response to the Coronavirus and a desire to get ahead of it and reduce infections. We will continue to update you on information as it becomes available.
Due to the Coronavirus, Band Festival scheduled for this Friday, 3/20/20 has been cancelled. Solo/Ensemble festival at St Jo Central on the 28th is also cancelled.

There is an accident on Highway 59 and State Route Y east of Oregon that has closed Highway 59 for the forseeable future. This could impact the arrival time for our students that ride Mr. Dryden's Bus 333 this afternoon.
