South Holt will be implementing a kindergarten through 12th grade mask mandate in school starting Monday, November 16, 2020. Please read this letter for more information. More information will come this weekend.
Last day of the book fair is tomorrow. The library will be open before school and after school until 4 pm. Thank you to everyone who has purchased items and we hope to see everyone tomorrow.
Tonight JH Basketball game against Nodaway-Holt has been cancelled. Student / athletes will attend practice at the normally scheduled times.
The South Holt FCA meeting tonight at 7pm has been cancelled.
Happy Veterans Day to all Veterans. The appreciation for the Veterans is showing at South Holt.

South Holt will be celebrating Veterans Day on Wednesday. All are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue. At 9:00am Veterans will drive by the school with students cheering and showing support. At 9:30-9:50 the elementary kids will be steaming an assembly on South Holt’s Facebook Live page.
Our Junior High Basketball game scheduled for tonight (11/10) against St. Gregory's has been cancelled. Student / Athletes will attend practice in place of the game. Thank you!
Information for the upcoming District Championship at North Andrew. Entry fee will be $5.00 for anyone over 6 years of age. No passes accepted. All bleacher sections will be closed to fans. Fans must bring thier own seating. Areas around the stadium are avaliable for chairs and blankets and social distancing is highly encouraged. Thank you.
The scheduled JH Basketball game for tonight, Monday, November 9th, against East Atchison has been cancelled. Plans are in place for our student athletes to take part in practice at the normally scheduled times.
The South Holt / Nodaway-Holt Spartans will play again on Friday, November 13th for the District Football Championship. The game will be at North Andrew and begin at 7:00 pm.
Sunday (today) at 7pm Northwest Missouri FCA is hosting a virtual Field of Faith event! South Holt FCA will be showing this in the gym beginning at 6:45pm. Any JH or HS students interested in FCA should come! See Mrs. Plummer with questions!
Dawson Fansher received all-state honors as well for his finish in the race today.
South Holt would like to congratulate the members of our cross country team on their performance at the Missouri Class 1 state Championships. Senior Reese Morris placed 18th with a time of 22:10 receiving all-state honors. Freshman Olivia Prussman placed 42nd with a time of 23:42. Junior Makayla Bohart placed 63rd with a time of 24:17. In the Men’s race, Junior Dawson Fansher placed 20th with a time of 17:49.
South Holt 6th grade Student Council is hosting a family movie event today in the school's main gym. Movie is "Shrek the First" starting at 1:00pm. Admission is free and concessions will be available to purchase. Bring a pillow or blanket to be comfortable on the gym floor. Social distancing will be happening.
