South Holt girls will play at 7:30 tonight (1/27/20) in the King City Tournament. Boys will play at 9:00. Both games will occur in the old gym. The bus will leave South Holt at 5:30 PM tonight.
Courtwarming shirts are due no later than Tuesday January 28th. They are $11 and a picture of the shirt can be found on the school website.
South Holt School and Apple Bus will return to normal bus routes on Monday, January 27th. Any work that can be done to improve turn arounds and driveways is greatly appreciated. If you have concerns or questions, please contact your bus driver.
The South Holt Athletic Booster Club would like to thank all the kids and parents for participating in the 2020 Holt County Little Dribblers Program. This fundraiser raised around $850 for the Booster Club to help support the athletic teams at South Holt.
The 5th grade participated in an Immigration Simulation on Thursday. Several checkpoints to be “admitted” into the United States.

The South Holt basketball game for Friday, January 24th against Osborn has been postponed.
Hillyards Technical School will not be in session tomorrow.
South Holt varsity girls and boys practices are cancelled this afternoon. Players should be coming home right after school.
Our Senior parent meeting scheduled for tonight at 6:30 PM has been cancelled. Senior parents, expect a text soon to your group to discuss options for the upcoming Senior supper.

FYI - After School Bible Club for South Holt students has been cancelled for today....Wednesday, January 22nd.
South Holt’s basketball game against Stewartsville for Wednesday 1/23/20 has been postponed. A make-up date will be announced ASAP.
Football and Cheer parents and athletes. Please mark Monday, February 3rd on your calendar as the date of our Spartans Ahletic Banquet. The banquet will begin at 6:30 PM at the TJ Hall Building and an invitation will be mailed home today.
Hillyards Technical School will be closed today. All South Holt Hillyards students, please report to school by 10:45 AM.
South Holt’s scheduled basketball game for a Tuesday 1/21/20 against Stewartsville has been rescheduled for Wednesday 1/22/20 due to Stewartsville school cancelation. JV girls will begin play at 5:00 that evening followed by JV boys and varsity.
South Holt buses will travel on paved surfaces only, no rock roads until further notice. Please contact your bus driver or Richard Corbin at 660-442-5111 to set up alternate pick up and drop off sites. Sorry for the inconvenience.
South Holt Ball Association Summer Ball Sign ups are postponed to next Monday, January 27th from 5:30-6:30.
