South Holt parents, this afternoon, all Junior boys attended a presentation on Missouri Boys State. While signing up for this experience does not guarantee participation, I would encourage that you please discuss this opportunity with them. Boys State will occur June 12th - June 19th at Central Missouri State University. The in house deadline for applications is Friday, January 29th at 3:00 pm. The South Holt Lady Knights will play Rock Port tonight at 9:00 pm in the Fairfax Tournament. Games can/will begin early when possible. Please remember that you must be on a players pass list to attend the games. All games for the Fairfax Tournament will be broadcast on the Fairfax School District Facebook page.

Tomorrow South Holt will begin participating in the annual Fairfax Basketball Tournament. Boys will play on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Girls will play on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. There are two separate pass lists, players and fans can only enter the gym on their designated nights. Cheerleaders and their guests are only allowed on Friday and Saturday. Players and fans are asked to leave after the game they are scheduled for ends to help keep crowd size down. Entry fees are $4.00 for adults and $3.00 for students, no passes accepted. All games will be live streamed on the East Atchison Facebook Page.

South Holt winter sports will honor their Senior athletes before the girls basketball game on Thursday, January 7th at home against West Platte. Our 2019-2020 Girls District Basketball Championship Team will be honored at halftime of the Boys game.
South Holt JH/HS students. School will be back in session tomorrow morning. When you arrive at South Holt please go to the following locations. All Junior High students should go to the cafeteria. All High School students should go to the lounge area before school. All JH/HS students eating breakfast should go to the cafeteria. Students will no longer report to classrooms before the school day begins. Please remember we are still on a mask mandate in the building, so students in the lounge will need to wear their masks.
