Tuesday, April 6th will be a busy day for South Holt athletics. High School Track and Field will compete at King City as an alternate site for the Travis Girratono Relays beginning at 2:00 pm. Junior High Track and Field will compete at the Mound City Quads beginning at 4:00 pm. Finally, South Holt baseball will compete at Forest City against Platte Valley at 4:30 pm.

On Monday, March 29th Northstar Advocacy Center will provide developmentally appropriate sexual abuse training to students in grades 6th - 12th in accordance with South Holt Board Policy 2742. This is a newly approved policy that will be an annual requirement. Each grade level will be separated with different age-appropriate presentations. The presentation will consist of: Instruction in recognizing sexual abuse, instruction in reporting incidents of sexual abuse, instruction in actions that student-victims of sexual abuse can take to obtain assistance and intervention, and instruction in resources that are available to students affected by sexual abuse will be presented. Students may be excused from this presentation with a written request from the parent or guardian by no later than 8:20 am on March 29th.
