District baseball at Rock Port update: South Holt will continue play against Platte Valley at 4:30pm on Wednesday. Then the winner of that game plays right away against Rock Port on Wednesday after a proper warmup. Admission will be $6 per person, but will be refunded to anyone leaving before the second game starts.
South Holt's district baseball game against Platte Valley is postponed due to rainy weather on Monday night. The game will resume at TBA.

Sectionals for track has concluded, and our South Holt competitors gave it their all! Claire Ezzell placed 8th in triple jump, Chloe Debee placed 6th in triple jump. 2nd Graders discussed bike safety with Nurse Costello this morning. A special thank you to the Holt County Health Department for providing each 2nd grade student with a bike helmet. Stay safe this summer!
Kindergarten through 5th grade students participated in a Safety Fair on Tuesday morning. Topics discussed included water, fire, railroad, and farm safety. Cyber/cell phone safety was also discussed, as well as staying safe with household products and medications. Thank you to all our presenters!
South Holt baseball has been selected as the #2 seed in the District 16 Tournament. The Knights has a first round "bye" and play on Monday, May 19th at 6pm against the winner of Platte Valley/Stanberry. All games at Rock Port. All times/dates subject to change based on weather.

The South Holt varsity baseball team won last night over Gallatin on Senior Night by the score of 10-0. The JV lost 3-2 in a very close game. The next game is a varsity only game on Wednesday at Missouri Western against St. Joe Christian at 3:30pm. Yes, that game starts at 3:30pm. Go Knights!

Thank you to the Oregon Kiwanis Club for celebrating South Holt Elementary students for working to bring up their grades over the course of the school year. All students in grades 3-6 who earned a BUG Award during the 2024-2025 school year celebrated with pizza and pop, compliments of Kiwanis. Great job, Knights!
