JH basketball had a home game last night against North Nodaway. The girls won and the boys lost. JH basketball plays again on Thursday at Rock Port.
HS basketball practice started last night for girls and for the boys not in football. Any HS boy or girl still interested in HS basketball….please see Mr. Quinlin to get practice info for the week.
There will be a grade check for all 7th-12th graders today. This is the first grade check of the 2nd Quarter and will determine Academic Probation for the next few weeks.
South Holt will be hosting a Book Fair all this week (November 3rd-7th) in the library. Please see Mrs. Anderson for more information and hours. There is a Family Night scheduled for Thursday evening from 5pm-7pm.
A representative from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO will be in Mrs. Martin's room on Thursday at the beginning of 8th hour to speak with any interested high school students. Attend for the chance to have your name in the next gift card give-away!
Varsity cross country has had 3 runners qualify for the State Meet….Jorden Piper, Sophie Mendenhall, and Chloe DeBee. These 3 all finished in the top 30 at Districts and qualified for State. There will be a send-off event in the main hallway on Friday at 10:00am before they leave for State. These 3 runners will run on Saturday morning in Columbia.
The varsity football team plays on Friday at St. Joe Christian at 7:00pm for district football playoffs. The bus on Friday will leave at 4:20pm.
Monday, November 10th is a PD Day for teachers so there is no school for students. Hillyard students will still attend on Monday with the bus time of 6:45am.
Veterans Day is on Tuesday, November 11th.
