Friday was AMI Day #2. For 7th-12th Grade students and AMI work….there are 3 days to complete all AMI work so that deadline is Wednesday this week. Please visit with each of your teachers on each assignment so you can be counted as “In Attendance” for the AMI Day.
Today all of the JH and HS students will go to an assembly at Mound City and will travel there in school buses. JH will go in the morning and HS will go after lunch. JH will be gone from 8:50-11:15 and HS will be gone from 12:10-2:45. The assembly features speaker Russ Tuttle and he will talk about Social Awareness and tips to help students in our digital world.
Great effort by the HS basketball teams on Friday in games against Platte Valley. Both the boys and girls teams play again today in the Fairfax Tournament. Girls play at 4:30pm today and the boys play at 5:45 today. The bus leaves at 3:00pm.
The Drop and Add window for any schedule changes will close on Tuesday, January 14th at 2:30pm.
On Tuesday there will be a high school baseball meeting during lunch for all HS kids interested in playing this year. Come to Coach Petersen’s room at lunch with your tray.
All Seniors need to turn in their Senior Composite picture form as soon as possible to Mr. Quinlin. As of right now there have been 8 forms tuned in. Composite form received from Rachael, Cole, Zachary, Trevor, Anna, Katie, Kale, and Dylan.
Remember that JH and HS students can go to the library from 8:00am-8:20am any day to check out books or just be in the library before school. The library is also open for checkout from 3:00-3:30 every day.
Cyber Club will start back up on Wednesday, January 15th after school in the computer lab.
Courtwarming will be celebrated January 21st-24th with a theme of “We Got the Beat”. Courtwarming dress-up days information and activity sign-ups will be shared soon. Courtwarming T-Shirts can be purchased until Tuesday, January 14th. Order forms are online and in the information center.
